I struggled to give this product four or five stars. It deserves five stars for the features people are most likely to buy it for - mashing and scooping - but everything else is pretty weak. I think you could use the "blade" on the side to cut through the avocado, but that's a bit tricky. I still haven't figured out how to pull out a hole with it. And the "apple core" handle is a joke. In general, you should buy the thing immediately to puree and possibly scoop an avocado, and ignore all other "features".
