I like the mounting lever and the plate that sits on the surface of the dash. Unfortunately, the suction cup failed when it first got cold and no matter what I do, it no longer holds. Very disappointing. Update: I only washed the suction cup with warm water after it lost adhesion and fell onto the bottom panel, assuming the silicone suction cup had picked up dirt in its good condition. The suction cup now holds, but remarkably the temperature only dropped after 20 seconds when the suction cup lost its grip. This update is about cleaning the suction cup to reattach it to the mounting plate after falling off. If you have a "dropping" problem, cleaning the silicone suction cup with warm water will help.
