I installed this on my windshield because I don't have a nice flat surface on the dash and every bump I encounter it doesn't hold the GPS in place. Position all the time against wobbling. Can't stick it to the bracket.

I found this article as described. I followed the instructions and it works fine. It keeps my device away from the vents but low enough not to block my view. I am very happy with it and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Once you attach the adhesive pad it disappears. The only problem I have is when I park. Power outlet. It is also very inconvenient to put on sunscreen and take pictures with a rear-view mirror. I always wear sunscreen to protect myself from the hot Florida sun on the GPS. The temperature in the car reaches 110-120. A good investment for me

Only used for 1 trip (800 miles) but works well. The windshield suction cup held up well on our first two long rides (2200 miles each) but then kept falling off. This new mischief is quite big and when it falls it's loud and scary! I think this one will work much better since gravity is more on its side. Also, the seller was happy to let us know when it was shipped and asked if it arrived undamaged. I appreciate this attention, but no problem!

The GPS holder is well made and seems to do the job. I put it on my bike's tank and only time will tell if it wobbles or vibrates, loosens and falls off. A round sticky carpet doesn't bother me. It should be good. The problem with vibration or shaking severely weakens the suction cup, but until there is no problem I will take a chance. The product looked promising at first, but long-term use has shown that this product has problems. First, it is a soft base that attaches to the car console. The same part or suction cup on the arm keeps falling off a few days after installing it on the vehicle. I like the mounting lever and the plate that sits on the surface of the dash. Unfortunately, the suction cup failed when it first got cold and no matter what I do, it no longer holds. Very disappointing. Update: I only washed the suction cup with warm water after it lost adhesion and fell onto the bottom panel, assuming the silicone suction cup had picked up dirt in its good condition.
