Review on 🔥 Mr. Heater Corporation F299831 Ventless 30,000 BTU Radiant Natural Gas Heater, Multi by Robin Haynes

The item arrived in a very damaged box with some minor damage to the item. I decided it wasn't worth going back as it would most likely bring more trouble than harm. The product is not difficult to install, but you need to buy a gas pipe. The hardest part was finding a place to connect the stove. It can be wall mounted, but a natural gas line has to be run to this point, which is very expensive. My gas range was 30 years old and cost nothing, so I just hooked it up to this gas line and bought a 3 foot gas line that goes to the heater. It took about 2 minutes for the test lamp to actually light up. The gas is needed to fill the chamber or something like that. It heats very well and I bought a fan as an extra. It took a lot of effort to remove the metal that was supposed to be removable. He managed to remove it, but not without much effort. I almost had to cut it with my dremal tool but I finally pulled it out. The fan fitted perfectly and was easy to install after removing the metal. I was a bit disappointed that the motor was very weak and the fan blades were very small and it didn't blow very hard. If I had known this I would not have bought it, just used a fan to redistribute the warm air around the room. It heats up fast and says less ventilation but uses O2 and if your house is airtight it uses a lot of O2 so not for use in a small bedroom or bathroom in my opinion. It has an automatic low O2 shutoff, but I'm not sure how much I trust that. Any fire will go out without O2 anyway, so I didn't see the specs on how sensitive this auto shutoff was. Hope that helps. The most difficult thing is to connect the gas column to the furnace. The rest of the connection was easy. Now that I'm using the heater more often, I'm not happy with the auto shut-off feature. I don't know why, but if it was on, either by touching the heat sensor or something, it turns off. Switches off completely, including the modeling light. I don't like it when the check engine light stays on all the time. When it's on it's fine, but I have to constantly re-light the test lamp to get the heater working again. That really lowers my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars in my opinion.
