I recently received a new FinaPod from a seller that was specifically designed for "oily spices". And it really works with my flaxseeds! It was nice to receive it without asking the seller for anything! They obviously care about their product and I would recommend the Finamill with Oily Spice Pod (Orange) to others looking for something to grind oily seeds like flaxseed. I really had to adjust the finishing touches (located at the bottom of the pod where the ground seeds come out) otherwise the seeds will just fall through all the way. did not stick to the lid of the box. The grinder also had a scratch on the front, but it wasn't noticeable and wasn't worth returning. However, I bought it for grinding flaxseed, unfortunately it is not suitable for that. Seeds should be too light or soft. I found a suitable grind setting that didn't drop the whole kernels and wasn't so fine it turned into dust, but they were so oily from spinning. Grinding 1 tablespoon of flaxseed took too long, so I went back to hand grinding to finish the seeds. I will go ahead and leave this grinder in hopes that I can find a spice to grind. On the plus side, the pods slide in and out smoothly, which is part of the device looking well designed. If I find it works well with the spices I'll update my review.
