I have used this 3 times to change the tires on my 26ft torsion axle catamaran trailer which weighs about 10,000lbs. Only once did the jack slip back when trying to climb. I rearranged the socket and everything worked on the second try. I would buy this jack 100 more times if needed, it's so damn easy. I attach it to the trailer drawbar with a chain and padlock.
