At the same time, setup was incredibly easy - literally took 30 seconds. and to my great surprise, they do not block the bottom plugs when plugged into the TOP outlet of a standard two-outlet outlet. Fiction. So far, so good. Everything was great until I connected and noticed that the connection seemed terribly slow. I did a speed test and I get a QUARTER of 1MB. This is a gigabit fiber optic connection with a maximum speed of 1000 Mbit/s. So that's 1/4000th the speed of my wired internet connection. Now I'm not expecting more than 300Mbps or something. but that is almost switched speed and unusable. Well, I'm a network engineer, so it's not a fact that I just "don't know what I'm doing". It's connected to a gigabit router and I can get 900Mbps by plugging my laptop into the same port this device is plugged into. a device that's literally 1-2 feet from the power strip in these speed tests. This is not an intervention. Very disappointed. I'll try more fixes and update the review if anything changes, but if not I'll request a refund. Attached is a photo of the speed test results.
