Very powerful electric straight grinder. I was more than happy with this purchase. It's definitely a pretty solid build and more than enough power for any job. I have used this machine to port a cylinder head and it has never lacked the power to machine single and double burrs. It worked intermittently for several hours and never got hot. There are 2 reasons I didn't rate it 5 stars. 1. The cartridge is of somewhat questionable quality. I've never had a problem holding it onto bits, but it was a bit serrated and the wrench's teeth don't engage the chuck very well. If you are not careful, the key will easily slip off. While the speed control works well and this unit spins at a very high speed, I wish it had a slower low speed setting. When attempting more detailed or complex work, the lowest speed setting may be too high, making control difficult.
