I bought this table because of its size so I can put it under the pot and pan stand so I don't hit my head. The table is solid, heavy and well made. It comes completely unfinished. I used Ebony, Provence and Red Oak wax on the bottom and oil and wax on the top. The shelves are very stable and adjustable. Recommendation: The upper surface is packed face down in the bottom of the box. Since most people report damage here, you can turn the box upside down and bring the inner box to life. This saves you from repacking everything. The legs and threads are the least damaged because they are packed in a double carton. The package says two people will pick up the package, UPS sent one man. I'm glad I was here, otherwise it would probably get damaged if he tried to move it on his own.
