Review on Rosonway Aluminum 5 Port USB Hub Expander - Powered USB Hub with 4 USB 3.0 Data Ports, 1 Fast Charging Port, 24W Power Adapter, Individual Switches - USB Hub 3.0 Splitter (RSH-A35) by Zach Peterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The thing is fast.

What struck me about this experiment was copying data from one external hard drive to another. The transfer speed was more than twice as fast as my previous USB 3 hub. I honestly didn't know USB 3 was capable of this kind of speed. I've never encountered that before. I've connected 14 external desktop hard drives to it and they work great. I connected all the hard drives and this USB hub to the computer's internal 12V power supply, so I don't have 15 power supplies. So I can't say anything about the included power supply. I like switches that allow me to turn the hard drive on and off at will. The aluminum body is slim and elegant. The overall quality is pretty good. I have a broken switch on a USB output. The switch did not stay in the down position. Due to where I live it will be expensive to return so I'll live with that by sticking the switch so it's always on and not running an external hard drive on that port. I believe this is not a common mistake that affects many people, which is why I'm keeping the 5 star rating.
