Surprisingly it works

Well I have no complaints about the device itself, it's plug and play and works fantastic. Very low latency, even over 50ft CAT6 and even when using a hub at the far end. The only point of criticism is the included power pack for the receiver. It is designed for 5V/1A or 5W only. That's not much for USB, especially for powering multiple connected devices and the receiver itself, not to mention plugging in and charging your phone or similar. I already have 2 of the ones included in the kit are dead. The simple solution is to buy a separate 5V/3A (15W) or larger barrel connector power supply to power the receiver. Since doing this I haven't had any more problems.

Pros
  • 4 USB 2.0 ports, backwards compatible
Cons
  • Something else
