I've always liked Linksys products - I know they haven't been owned by Cisco for 6 years. However, I've been using Linksys wireless devices since the classic WRT54G. I bought this as an upgrade for my Linksys E3500 which was a replacement for my Linksys EA1300 (I think you get the pic here.). At some point I also had a WRT54G. WiFi coverage over an area of 1800 mΒ². Feet with it above the garage were just unsatisfactory up to the cave. In fact, I plugged my Linksys EA3500 back in and waited to return it and get a (GASP) Netgear replacement for it. Unfortunately, we got better service from a router that cost at least half the price from the same company. It is not a convincing product and I (unfortunately) cannot recommend it. For the price look elsewhere.
