Review on 🔭 12X50 High Power DOTSOG Monocular Telescope with Smartphone Holder - Perfect for Bird Watching, Hunting, Camping, Travelling, and Wildlife Observation by Matt Schwartz

I wanted something that could easily clip onto a smartphone to use as a zoom lens for hiking and kayaking. Firstly when the package arrived the Revain packaging was fine, inside the box was completely destroyed by the telescope (picture attached). I don't even know how it happens! I usually don't care if the box is a little damaged, exposed to rain, etc., but it's meant to be a fairly fragile tool that could easily break (but not, which is good). The telescope itself looks decent enough, especially for the price. My main complaint is the phone connection kit - it doesn't work. There is a round attachment that you must use to connect your telescope's eyepiece, but you can't because their diameters are exactly the same! I have attached photos. I've seen other photos from verified purchases that don't appear to have the same issue, so I'm not sure if I received the wrong items or something. This attachment does not fit inside or outside of the eyepiece. Without this part, the smartphone kit is useless. Unfortunately I am sending it back immediately.
