Good for short distance zooming. Works well enough to detect holes in targets at 100 yards. The compass also seems accurate. Includes tripod, lens cap, phone adapter. I haven't tried the adapter.

Wow, how nice. I bought this telescope for my wife, but I also use it. This is a good value monocular and I have to say I was very impressed. We use it when we go on family outings and we can take really good pictures. We have it in the car every day. You never know when something worth seeing will show up.

The wobbly tripod broke when I tried to screw it into the telescope. The parts that supposedly attach the telescope to the smartphone are difficult to align and connect securely. You have to hold both the phone and the telescope, leaving no hands to actually take photos. So the telescope works great but it's just fun to watch squirrels and birds moving through the trees but I bought it to capture wildlife in my backyard on film. It's useless for that.

I returned the goods the same day I received them. I remember reading a review from a person who bought this product before I decided to buy it and this reviewer said the zoom performance was wrong. I still decided to buy it as I got lucky with my purchases and it turned out great. But not this one. The power of 40x60 is dead wrong. I returned this monocular. The website and the instrument itself says 40x60, which means 40x magnification and a 60x lens. I looked through my 10x binoculars and compared it to a unit and that unit was actually a bit smaller so 8x or 10x max. I measured the lens and it's 40mm not 60mm. The part number on the box was 1040, so I tend to think the part number reflects the actual specs of the monocular. I am extremely disappointed. I wanted something that could easily clip onto a smartphone to use as a zoom lens for hiking and kayaking. Firstly when the package arrived the Revain packaging was fine, inside the box was completely destroyed by the telescope (picture attached). I don't even know how it happens! I ordered a 12x50 monocular and compared it to my Nikon 9x25 and Tasco 7x35 binoculars and Gosky 8-24x50 zoom monocular. The lens size is 40mm, not 50mm. And the increase is somewhere between Tasco and Nikon. So I would rate this unit an 8x40 rather than a 12x50. The label on the device says it's 40x60, which is very, very far off.
