This is the only wheel I have used on my gerbils. Since they chew everything through, I have to change them every two months or so, but I'd rather give them an edible wheel than a plastic one. Lots of space, no strain on the back. I wipe it down with pet safe wipes once a week and it washes great. I don't like the Quork padding on the inside, but it doesn't last long anyway as my gerbils like to chew on it. It's also very quiet. My gerbils wake up at random times of the day and night, and I only really hear the wheel when it accidentally hits something else. Overall I love this product. My kids love this product. If you have gerbils, mice or a Syrian hamster I think they will love it too. Not recommended for larger rodents such as adult rats or chinchillas.
