Replacing the thermostat on my 2013 Dart broke this easy to install but seemingly impossible HVAC quick connect connector. The details and extra work to replace the cable was ridiculous in my opinion. I bought this kit for a lot less than the extra parts should have cost me. After using a flare kit on the metal stem that the hose attaches to and installing the hose clamps I now have no more leaks and an inexpensive cheap plastic quick connector is out of this car for a lot less than a replacement part . Added bonus: I can fix any other machine that comes into my garage without worrying about how to fix stupid engineered flimsy parts.
