Continued to pay $15 for each knife sharpener and finally found a really great product. In most cases, you only need the second and third step. The first step is for really dull, dull knives that need a deep sharpening. Bought this for Thanksgiving to sharpen my turkey carving knife. Worked great and ended up sharpening all of our knives. I used it over Christmas to sharpen the prime rib grill and it only took a couple of pulls on the third step and it worked well. The machine lasts for many years and pays for itself in a short time. No more hassle of shipping knives or driving and waiting for someone to sharpen them. Definitely recommend.
