We bought a red one for 5 years. He saw other kids riding similar three-wheeled scooters and decided to give it a try. He instantly fell in love with it and asked for his own, as well as a helmet and pads. I looked at several models on Revain and settled on this crowdsourced model. Not disappointed on arrival. This scooter has some really good features that others don't have: 1) Easy to fold design. You simply pull the small spring-loaded safety latch lever located under the front wheels. The position safely prevents the rider from folding the scooter during use. 2) Height adjustment. Other scooters I've seen had a simple lever that applied a pinch force to the center post to lock it in place. He also used force on my fingers when I tried to attack him. Ouch. This scooter uses locking holes and a spring loaded pin for multiple height adjustments and a swivel ring to lock everything in place. It is very easy to reuse if you share this scooter with several kids of different ages. 3) Flashing Wheels! All three wheels have beautiful LED lights that interact with centripetal force as you spin. I know the light won't last forever, but it should last quite a while. You look very cool. This is a very durable scooter with a rated weight limit of 110 pounds. So dads, hold on! You have to find your own haha. The only minor thing I noticed was the non-slip treads. And the stickers look like they want to peel off the little spikes. I just use some shoe glue. If you are not familiar with these 3 wheel scooters, they are really intuitive for kids. The two front wheels give the scooter stability, and the wheels turn in unison when the rider leans sideways on the handlebars. The rear wheel is braked on top to allow the rider to accelerate by putting one foot forward and then heeling the toe of the other foot back onto that brake. great design. The build is solid, the design is great, the paint color is deep and glossy - I'd say it's automotive grade. We are super happy with our purchase!
