Our family typically has one or two big canning session each year.Fellow canners will know that also means we always have anabundance of canning jars of all shapes and sizes laying around.Using them for storage is a natural way to make the most of your jars,however, I have never come across canning jar lids this nice before.If these lids merely looked nice, they would not be worth 5 stars for me.What makes me recommend them so enthusiastically is that they do in fact work as lids.A more traditional cap with a rubber seal is concealed inside the decorative bamboo exterior of these lids.It's that seal, combined with regular plastic threads, which make these great for storage.The lids/caps seal out/in air and moisture, which means they can be used with perishables like candy.You will want to hand-wash these in order to keep them looking nice and working properly,but I personally think they are well worth the effort.I am completely smitten with these decorative and functional canning jar lids.Moreover, I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone becausethey transform empty jars from clutter into beautiful storage.
