I'm quite happy with mine. The embroidery isn't the best as another reviewer said. But that's enough for me. It's very cheap. It feels good underfoot and is of fairly high quality for the most part. But you can probably find a standard $10 rug that does the same thing and is about the same quality. If you want all the accessories to fit your cabin like I did, you should buy them. If not, then you really don't need it. I recently moved with my cabin and see no difference between my living room rug and this one. If you have a hard floor then you should definitely use something. Or, if you have another hard surface, then yes, use one or something similar.
