I have a cheap peeler in this style that I bought 14 years ago. This is probably the best scrub I've ever had. I used to have 2 but gave one away when my mum moved in because she had a Tupperware Grooming Knife Y, now she's moving and I need a second knife again (as my kids cook with me) so I started looking did. I started with a kitchen helper and a vegetable peeler. This scrub was just awful! It was necessary to press him very hard so that he stuck in the skin of a potato, apple or carrot. The handle was too big for my taste. I still had to put some pressure on the blade, more than I would have liked. However, I wanted another knife, so I kept looking. Then I found this knife in the store and brought it home 2 days ago. From the first try, I knew this was a great scrub. I don't need to put any extra pressure on it, but I also don't worry about it being sharp and cutting my fingers if they get in the way. This scrub is easy to handle and use. The rubber handle is comfortable to hold. It will be easy for my family to use it. If you are looking for a new cleaning knife, I definitely recommend it!
