I was working on a large quilted pattern bag as a birthday gift for my mom, but it took a hell of a long time to to cut a square of the same size and shape.I kept trying to make perfect squares but it seemed impossible.I bought this along with a new circle cutter.I tried it as soon as I got home and it worked, but it does slide a bit on slippery fabrics. So I put some strips of double sided tape on the bottom and BINGO ! It held the fabric in place and I was able to cut perfect, evenly shaped squares every time I cut all the pieces out that I needed and kept my head from exploding I would recommend this and it will definitely be something I will be using often.
