Review on Genius Wired Optical Mouse DX 110Black by Adam Woods ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Everything is known in comparison: the first mouse of this company - GENIUS NetScroll 311 is very small, comfortable - worked for 15 (! ) Years, the legs were worn out, glued plastic dies from the bottom - it continued to work until the wheel broke, then there was a large mouse A4 Tech OP620 ( uncomfortable, because the hand is tense all the time due to the easy actuation of the keys - see the table in the appendix), Then the Defender DATUM MM-010 is small-sized, quite comfortable, but the keys, especially the working one - the left one - work with great effort (see table) - the finger gets tired, especially when you need to highlight something, I decided to purchase Genius Mini DX-110. It is more comfortable, but the profile is more humpbacked (not so flat) - it will be necessary for the hand to get used to it so as not to develop the earned polyarthritis in the joints of the hand (for more than 30 years the hand has worked on large mice such as OR-720) . Pros
  • 1. Sufficiently small - the hand lies down normally and does not strain - Ergonomic design 2. The shape of the keys with a smooth recess under both fingers so that they do not slip off 3. Keys are sensitive and work effortlessly 4. The wheel with corrugations and convex-rounded in section (not flat) - it is convenient to twist with your fingers - quite sensitive 5. The mouse glides very well on the mat - does not slow down and does not stick to it
Cons
  • 1. The wire adjoins the mouse without thickening, therefore, so that it does not prematurely fray in this place on the bend, it is carefully wrapped in 2 turns with insulation (see photo) - other mice have a plastic thickening-adapter in this place. 2. The right key is sensitive, sometimes it works when the middle finger just rests on it 3. The plastic of the case is slightly sticky to the touch, when the hand rests on the mouse for a long time, the stickiness disappeared over time - it was gently rubbed with a cleaning compound. This is the effect of a new product - not a nitpick, after a month of use all surfaces became normal. 4. Slightly humpbacked in shape - not as flat as the previous one (see comment)

Worse mice from this company have not seen. A shame!

How critical I am to the buttons of other mice, until I changed this one in 1.5 years. My good one!
