I had to get this at the last minute to fit for the hike. I wanted cheap but something that gets the job done and that fits the bill. This carrier costs $27 and ships for free. It was big, secure and contained everything I needed. I only have a front and rear roof rack but it wasn't difficult to install. As other reviewers have said, you only need to attach 4 straps on the front and 4 on the back. At 75 mph the car was stable and never had a problem. I have provided pictures of how I installed it. The only thing I added was a piece of tape over the clasps for extra strength and I also used it to add some extra length to the strap to keep it from dangling. He drove 400 miles on the freeway at high speed, and the stitching didn't tear, didn't pop, and he didn't move an inch. When I got home it was folded up nicely and stowed in the trunk, ready to hit the road again. Really good find!
