Sorry DogRook. Workmanship: This collar is fine. For the money I wasn't expecting high build quality or durability of the materials. However, this collar is obviously very cheaply made. The collar closure is flimsy and tricky to snap. The power and level adjustment buttons don't work smoothly (i.e. don't have a good mechanical range of motion). The entire device is made of lightweight, low-density plastic and doesn't feel solid. Efficiency: This collar doesn't work at all on the English Springer Spaniel I used it on. There is no need to base your purchasing decision on my experience in this area. Every dog is a little different and one collar can be very effective for different breeds/people. However, the noise and vibration didn't stop my spaniel from barking.
