My husband and I flew to meet our son on the North Shore of Maine after he had worked at MCC for 4 months. He has a 2010 Prius with no roof rails or roof rack. We couldn't find an affordable rental car so this car transporter was our solution. It arrived quickly after ordering and I was able to fit it in my bag under my airplane seat. (it comes neatly folded and stored in a convenient drawstring storage bag). We were able to quickly attach it to the Prius and fill it up with all of his camping gear, steel-toed boots, and all the other things he needed in the middle of nowhere. This gave us the space we needed to travel the Maine coast for 10 days. We never worried about it breaking or getting wet inside. He never moved from his place on the roof, absolutely safe! I highly recommend this American well made product. It saved us a ton of money on our car rental and I can use it on our other cars too!
