Review on FOXWELL Diagnostic Function Chevrolet Cadillac by Demetrius Patsion

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It did what I needed and paid for itself in one use

The Foxwell NT510 Elite worked as advertised. This allowed me to fix my BMW's electronic parking brake, reset the fault code and activate the brake from the keypad. The dealership charged $2,300 to replace the entire electronic parking brake module and "program it into the car." That's code for "plugging it in" and charging a fortune while I was able to fix the module for just $23 plus the cost of a Foxwell NT510 Elite. The unit was advertised as advertised and came preloaded with the appropriate BMW diagnostic tests - I didn't have to download these from the internet, although software updates are available on the Foxwell website for free 'for life' with the purchase of the unit. On the other hand, it would be helpful if Foxwell provided simple definitions of what the various BMW error/fault codes actually mean. Of course, there's no shortage of bugs with these overly complex vehicles. So a device like this Fowxwell NT510 Elite will either help you repair your car and reset the fault code or better prepare you for a discussion with your BMW.
