Review on YesWelder Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet with Powered Features by Francisco Russell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good helmet for welding helmets

My previous helmet was an optrel crystal 2.0. Which was absolutely perfect for me. If you're not familiar with this, give it a try. It got wet so I bought this one. I have previously had a Lincoln 3350. As unfair as this comparison is, this is how I feel about this helmet compared to the $430 Optrel Crystal 2.0. First, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. There is also no grinding function. Sensitivity, latency and hue are everything, and so far everything has been flawless. The true color of the rating is not as good as the optrel. The clarity it strives for is slightly different. Don't get me wrong, it's clear, it's just not that clear. The lens worked perfectly and didn't blind me once and I turned my machine down to 5 amps on the TIG to see if the sensors would detect a low current. The hat is a little cheap, but it wears well on me. I've had problems with the headgear. The helmet is quite light. Only a few grams heavier than an Optrel. It seems hotter. I know this review reads as praising or pointing out the shortcomings of the Yeswelder helmet, but it's quite the opposite. I compared this helmet to a helmet with the latest technology. For the price of this helmet you can't go wrong. I use this helmet for Flash, Tig and Stick. It works well for me in all processes. I'll go as far as to say in my opinion, and some others may not like that, but this helmet is superior to the Lincoln 3350 in every way. So take this review as you wish. Good or bad. It's just like that for me. 😁
