Review on Keeper 89540 Tarp Clip by Jonathan Roloff

Purchased these to add additional attachment points to trailer covers. Very impressed with the solid feel of the build quality. The end that grips the tarp has five rows of 3/4" wide jaws spaced 3/16" apart. Reliable attachment. Coarse thread handle. The total length of the clip is 3 inches. Great attention to detail in the casting process. This usually corresponds to a very high quality and reliable part. The clip looks like a turtle. Specially upgraded and highlighted with the addition of four legs and two studs (on the handle portion). Both the top and bottom of the clip have a hexagonal pattern that is very reminiscent of a turtle. These two features were not required for the item to function properly. We call it attention to detail. Whichever geekazoid designed this thing and sent the blueprint to a mold maker for the company had enough guts to make sure it worked properly. But like I said, I haven't used it yet. Be good.
