Review on Instapark ADF Series GX990T: Solar Powered Auto Darkening Welding Helmet with 4 Optical Sensors - Adjustable Shade Range #5 - #13 Bluish Devil by Ryo Flora

Great helmet, great features, huge screen at a good price.

I am new to welding and had serious problems with the old school helmets we used at school. I did a lot of research and the Instapark helmet topped many reviews for its price. It seemed to have many of the features of more expensive helmets at a better price. When it first arrived I was impressed by its weight, it's very light. It came with its own carrying case and a couple of extra protective lenses. The instructions were clear and well written, and the multi-band headband was perfectly adjusted for a comfortable fit. The auto-darkening controls on the outside of the helmet were easy to use and provided great options for situations ranging from grinding to MIG/TIF to arc welding. In use the auto-darkening lens works great, staying slightly darkened allowing you to get into position with your gun, lock the arc instantly and then extinguish with the delay you set when you're done. It makes a huge difference in your job and I don't know how old school welders used to work with untinted helmets. While I don't have the experience to compare it to other helmets, I was impressed with the huge viewing window. , multi-adjustable headband and overall helmet quality. Our instructor recommended Miller and Lincoln brand helmets, but for the money the Instapark 990 is very good at half the price. Even the teacher was impressed. I am confident that branded helmets will meet the needs of demanding professional welders who use them every day. For me, the most passionate welder, Instapark is by far everything I've ever wanted and more. Two thumbs up from this happy customer! 👍👍
