Bought to communicate with the public at the National Wildlife Refuge - I'm a biologist. I learned about this microscope at a nearby science demonstration museum and was hooked. I chose this model because of the higher resolution of photos, video capabilities, etc. It is amazing. Clarity is great. The only thing that bothered me was that the snap button is a hair trigger. I took all sorts of accidental photos. However, this is solved by changing the settings of the bundled software to require a double tap instead of a single tap. My Wishlist Improvements: Make it self-configuring with standard drivers and no additional software. It seems that it can be configured to work like a regular webcam. Second, make it compatible with iPad. It would really field it.
