Don't consider this a good option if you're dealing with a real blockage. This is a real plumber's tool for the following reason: First, the line is too flexible for a large block. It bounces and tangles, then buckles when you're in a large pipe. That was because they wanted to fit 50 feet of flexible line in a small drum. Second, the feed handle is made of cheap, flimsy plastic that cannot be held while the line is spinning. It looks like a 3/8 wide plastic handle and has no support. Third, the round drill is secured to the lid with a plastic latch that will fall off the first time you try to untangle the mess in your feed line. All in all, it's a useless snake on a 1.5 or larger pipe because you can't manually feed it and shove it into a blockage. It will either tangle, bounce, or get stuck in the pipe. Do yourself a favor and rent a 50-foot 1/2-inch electric line at your local Orange store. It costs about $40 for 4 hours and works the first time instead of playing with that confusing plastic tool you spent money on. I sent mine back after the first try. That sucks.
