Description of 🔧 DrainX 50-FT Steel Power Pro Drum Auger Plumbing Snake: Manual or Powered Usage | Heavy Duty Cable with Drill Attachment | Includes Work Gloves and Storage Bag

The drill adapter allows the snake to be driven by electric drill that attaches to the spindle, or driven by hand using the knob to clear your household drain clogs easily without calling a plumber. 1/4" diameter snake with spiral head designed for 1-1/4" through 3" pipes. It is not recommended to use this drum auger to clear a toilet clog as the snake may damage the porcelain. Features a lasting and durable steel drum housing with grip handle for easy use, for decades of money saving service. Grip handle and turning knob allows you to use this tool easily to manually drive the drain cable to unclog your pipes. Thumbscrew keeps the cable secure in its housing while the drum is not in use. Work Gloves and Drawstring Carrying Pouch Included. Great for use in plumbing all drains including kitchen and bathroom sinks, bathtubs, showers, and drainage pipes. Fixed previous issue - excellent follow up / service

The drill joint was already rounded when I received it. The product did not survive due to the impossibility of turning it with a power tool. However, he did his work by hand. However, I will not return it, has already been used and it will just be a hassle to return it. The product was shipped from Revain with very poor quality control. We can understand. For the gesture of sending a replacement I think this is excellent customer service. Fucked me by surprise. All I can say is thank you and…

Drill arrived at 6:30am, drain cleaned by 7am

I was nervous about using the 1/4" line as I had only used the 1/2" before line had used. My larger snake couldn't get around some corners of the drain line, which was clogged coming out of the roof vent. It ran like clockwork. The clogged section was long, requiring a lot of redrilling and reaming. I strongly recommend following the instructions carefully. Don't get greedy and try to lengthen too much each time, you'll probably end up with a kink. This is an unreliable tool, so handle it with…

High quality screw. highlighted.

This is a very good quality auger. I bought a 50 foot long one that could be driven with a drill. Very happy with how it works. The metal drum is very strong and the thumbscrew is screwed into the metal ring. The cord also has a yellow finish to warn you that you've run almost the entire cord down the drain. I think I probably won't need the drill option and would recommend buying the manual version. The drilling shaft interferes with turning. I have two very small issues with the product…

Great tool - save money

My kitchen sink drain needs to be replaced about every 2 years. I had a 25 foot drum drill bought from a big store which usually helps but this time I couldn't reach the blockage with all 25 feet inserted in the pipe. After some research I decided that this 50ft model would be my best bet. Definitely worth a try before calling a plumber will cost at least $200 to clear the drain. Luckily the drain was clear 30 minutes after I took it out of the box. Very easy to distribute by hand. I reached…

It won't work and here's why.

Don't consider this a good option if you're dealing with a real blockage. This is a real plumber's tool for the following reason: First, the line is too flexible for a large block. It bounces and tangles, then buckles when you're in a large pipe. That was because they wanted to fit 50 feet of flexible line in a small drum. Second, the feed handle is made of cheap, flimsy plastic that cannot be held while the line is spinning. It looks like a 3/8 wide plastic handle and has no support. Third…

It works and now my sink works!

Our kitchen sink drained water more and more slowly until it finally stopped. I had no idea how inconvenient (NOT a strong enough word) to be without a kitchen sink. But we didn't call the plumber - my husband and I are almost 70 and covid19 is even more uncomfortable. So I washed pots and pans in the tub and we poured tons of different drain cleaners down the kitchen sink. For weeks! Nada. Finally, I frantically searched the internet for a plumber's snake. I read a million reviews and chose…
