This is a very good quality auger. I bought a 50 foot long one that could be driven with a drill. Very happy with how it works. The metal drum is very strong and the thumbscrew is screwed into the metal ring. The cord also has a yellow finish to warn you that you've run almost the entire cord down the drain. I think I probably won't need the drill option and would recommend buying the manual version. The drilling shaft interferes with turning. I have two very small issues with the product. First, a handle that you hold in one hand and twist with the other would be more comfortable if it had a thicker handle. It would also be nice if the drum had access holes for spraying WD-40 to prevent rusting.
