I was nervous about using the 1/4" line as I had only used the 1/2" before line had used. My larger snake couldn't get around some corners of the drain line, which was clogged coming out of the roof vent. It ran like clockwork. The clogged section was long, requiring a lot of redrilling and reaming. I strongly recommend following the instructions carefully. Don't get greedy and try to lengthen too much each time, you'll probably end up with a kink. This is an unreliable tool, so handle it with care. It would be easy to snap the handle in, especially if you're using a large fork in your drill press. The bottom line is that it got the job done and was easy to use, at least when using a drill for turning.
