I've tried several other ratchet screwdrivers and they had some play or poor grip on the handle. This withstands even the strongest torque and the grip is perfect. Smooth enough that you can turn a screw and then turn it in your hand without using your other hand (when not in ratcheting mode) and strong enough to provide a good but not harsh grip when needed. The ratchet feature speeds things up a bit, which is nice considering I'm using it all day. I was pleased enough to purchase two more so I can keep one in my electric bag, main tool bag and around the house for small items.
