***Edited 7th Nov 22, I've added one more star because although they fell apart from wear and tear shortly after purchase, that's the only problem and not a big one. The shoes are still waterproof and surprisingly I haven't worn the tread on the bottom after over a year of use. The only other issue is the toe box is not as big as the other models but still big enough for me**** I love the Altra and this particular boot but after wearing them for less than a week, the toe box began to diverge. I thought these hiking shoes would be suitable for my very physical and hard work, but they didn't last long enough.
