An excellent portable voice recorder
Olympus VN-8100PC is an excellent portable voice recorder. I use it to jot down notes for next steps while I'm at work or when I need to remind myself of something later in the day. The recordings are very clear and the playback options make it easy to review them later. The microphone has settings for various recording conditions. Since I only use it for personal notes, I haven't tried the appointment recording settings. I assume it will work well for larger meetings as well.
