Will not work on 1999 SLK230

After I installed this part the engine started shaking under acceleration and overall engine power dropped. The engine struggled up the hill near my house. I returned the old OEM Bosch MAF sensor until I can get a new Bosch MAF. My 1999 Mercedes SLK230 drives fine with an old Bosch MAF, but I need to get rid of OBD errors P0170 and P0455.
