I've had satellite radio since 2003, always portable, so I've tried a few versions of the new Sirius and XM (and SiriusXM) radios. I was pleased that Radio Tour integrated their all access service as much as possible. The radio is nice, compact and looks crisp, however there are a few quirks that cause me to discontinue service and return. As mentioned, it takes about a good minute for the device to boot up and turn on the sound. It looks like the device is based on Android, so it's like downloading a phone or tablet. Other radios typically turn on and emit sound for 10 seconds or less. Switch channels: I don't like the way you scroll through channels. Also, scrolling the channel actually changes the channel you were listening to the moment you stop scrolling to watch the channel. It's not very comfortable to drive. Favorites: The preset buttons are gone, they are now a favorite screen, just like the app. Didn't find it comfortable to drive again. WiFi: The radio complains when the radio boots up and sees no WiFi. You can close the screen. In my case I used the mobile hotspot on my phone, which is not always active. I then turned on the hotspot, but the radio isn't smart enough to connect itself. You need to go to Wi-Fi settings and reselect the network you want to connect to. found it annoying. So you still have to work on this technology. The radio is nice and compact, the display is pleasant. Being able to scroll down to an "online only" channel and just play it as a satellite channel was nice. Channel logos and song title information with album art looked good. But like I said, it just didn't do me any good, so I'm happy to keep using my Onyx+ radio and phone app when I need other channels.
