Review on 🔧 Bilstein 33-187471 5100 Series Shock: Superior Performance for Unmatched Suspension Control by Dan Reggae

I bought these as the original shocks on my 2011 F-150 clocked 90,000 miles. They work great and are way better than stock shocks. They appear to be a bit longer than the originals as they raise the back of the truck by about an inch or so, but the ride makes up for it. I may just need to replace the old struts as they are likely to sag. The instructions I found online said it wasn't necessary to place the jack under the truck, but I found that simply placing the jack under the bumper and raising the truck about 1 1/2 inches made the installation much easier. The compression damping makes them difficult to install without raising the chassis a bit. The truck is now much smoother and handles bumps and potholes with no problems. I would buy them again and the price was very reasonable.
