I love the colors on this and it works well as an ashtray. I like that the silicone stays on the table and doesn't move. Side slots only fit very small 1 1/4" rolls of paper. Whatever the nearest size it will fit. Most holes are useless to me because they are so small, but if you have a bunch of tools like picks and Had scrapers it would work fine I think one important thing to note is all that crap is sticking out of your ashtray when you try to use it lol and you have to pull everything out when you use it want to throw away. Also the triangle in the middle for clearing the bowls doesn't work that well you have to clean it anyway. I bet it's not just this ashtray although probably all of those designs won't work. Overall I'm very happy with it I like it.It's also fun that it's a perfect color match for my silicone dinosaur shell.
