This filter was intended to replace the H-300 filter in a system that was installed a year ago. I installed the filter and all was fine until the next day water started seeping under the sink onto the new cabinet. Filter removed and dirt removed. I reinstalled the filter and noticed a leak after an hour. I removed the filter and replaced it with a new H-300 replacement filter I had on hand. No leakage! To add insult to injury, the return date expired the day I installed it! Now I'm waiting for the black mold to start growing. I've heard that manufacturing tolerances on heads and filters have caused leaks in the past. Maybe Everpure still has some work to do on the seal design.
