I ordered this product to keep my garden safe at night as we had some things stolen from us recently. It was very easy to set up. There is a wide range of tunes, mostly songs (including Christmas carols!). I went for the basic cuckoo sound. 3 different volume settings are a nice feature. The sensor works very well. He notices the smallest movement. We will only plug in the receiver before bed as it caught the dogs when I let them out. You might want to turn it off at night if you're only using it as a warning and there are animals roaming around at night. When the sensor is triggered, the blue light on the sensor will illuminate. Not a problem unless you're trying to catch a thief, but a piece of duct tape solved that problem. The receiver even caught through the concrete walls of the basement at a decent distance. This is a good product at a very reasonable price.
