Installation was fairly easy once I figured out which side was the inlet and which was the outlet. The metal honeycomb "filter" did not stay in place in the lid. I used clear silicone so it doesn't keep falling out. Hoses are terrible. They seemed good until they got hot. Then they just fell apart. I would happily spend a little more money on the signature brand JLT. If we spend another $12 on a new hose, we get almost the same price but double the installation time. (remove the old hose and install a new one)
