I bought this machine to replace my old machine (made about 10,000 cups in 13 years!) in the electronic menu. The most important thing, however, is the taste and smell of the espresso. I haven't managed to get to the point where they even come close to matching my old car's results. The espresso was either bitter or tasteless depending on the degree of grind and amount of coffee. I have used Lavazza Grand Crema Espresso coffee beans which always give me great results with my old machine. I called Gaggia but her advice didn't help. Eventually I returned this car to Revine.
