Disappointment.: Kitchen and dining room

I bought this machine to replace my old machine (made about 10,000 cups in 13 years!) in the electronic menu. The most important thing, however, is the taste and smell of the espresso. I haven't managed to get to the point where they even come close to matching my old car's results. The espresso was either bitter or tasteless depending on the degree of grind and amount of coffee. I have used Lavazza Grand Crema Espresso coffee beans which always give me great results with my old machine. I…

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Everything is fine

This machine makes excellent coffee and is fairly easy to clean and maintain. It's pretty well made, reminding me of an inkjet printer with its heavy removable plastic parts. If there was free shipping to and from a service center or onsite service I would give it 5 stars. This car broke down under warranty. I spent over $50 shipping to the warranty center and another $75 shipping back. For a product in this price range, shipping costs for warranty repairs are a real concern. It's too expensive

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • boring packaging

The service provider is great for sending you videos, nothing more.

Less than 6 months in use before had to spend $75 to send it in for service (Importika) for repair and less than another 6 months before it simply stopped working (which also describes the actions of the service provider at this point). Importika is quite hesitant about warranty coverage; The best you can hope for is that they decide you're not keeping your car clean enough, so they email you a 15-minute training video that walks you through 156 easy steps to thoroughly cleaning your car leads…

Pros
  • High ratings for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

I LOVE THIS CAR! for coffee, tea and espresso

I have had this car for 8 months now and I really like it! I'm not a fan of reviews but this espresso machine deserves it. :) A semi-automatic is great if you want a clean, no-frills car. No portafilter to clean, just empty the puck on the right when full. This machine looks sleek - love the modern stainless steel look. It automatically clears the lines after powering on and again after going into standby mode. I keep a 12-ounce jug of foam concentrate under the dispenser to draw water…

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Repair

My wife and I consider ourselves espresso lovers. After using a manual espresso machine for a long time, we decided to invest and buy a Brera after seeing many positive reviews. The coffee machine worked great for 7 months and made good espresso. It has been serviced according to the manufacturer's instructions, with the detachable parts being rinsed frequently and descaled every 2 months. We used low-fat Lavazza Gran Espresso and Super Crema coffee beans. A week ago the coffee grinder broke…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Some difficulties

No time saver. too much plastic

After using semi-automatic coffee machines for a few decades, I entered the world of fully automatic coffee machines with the Gaggia Brera. Pros: Great value, same price as the Gaggia Classic Pro (to be fair it's about $100-$150 cheaper as you need to buy a grinder and rammer/leveler to make it comparable ); everything in one place allows for a tidy countertop; Easy programming of the portion size. Now for the cons, and there are many: Small water tank (40 ounces vs. 72 ounces for the Classic…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Minor issues

A lot of work and waste for an "automatic "

TL; DR: Unless you have plenty of time and money and a second machine or french press to actually brew coffee for when you get impatient, avoid this junk. 8 months and we are lucky if 25% of our attempts are successful; the rest is just wasted beans. Whole Lotta Latte has bad support and we're considering just throwing it away for now instead of trying to get their help. We've owned it for eight months now and it looks like it's time to update my review. TLD;DR means retrospectively we wouldn't

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Communication with the seller

A simple, reliable, consistent workhorse with a small footprint!

I ordered a Brera on a Thursday afternoon and they were on my doorstep Monday morning. It was shipped free of charge by Whole Latter Love and arrived safely. Dispatched the same day I ordered! Not only did they contain lots of helpful beginner's brochures and additional tutorials to make the initial setup and use of the machine easier. Then I create an account there and get points that I can use to order more products. Their website is a great resource for all things coffee and espresso, with…
