Completely unimpressed. Use it for wet cleaning of parquet floors. I used a "wet" pad and pre-moistened and wrung it out according to the instructions. I then sprayed a weak solution of vinegar and distilled water on the floor and disinfected the area one area at a time. I didn't see any dirt on the microfiber mop even after rinsing it with warm water to see if the dirt was washed away. This made the floor too damp for hardwood, so I used a paper towel to hand dry the freshly washed area. The paper towel removed a lot of dirt as you could see the dark brown color on the paper. Something is wrong with these microfiber mops, the material doesn't pick up dirt. I don't think it's absorbent enough. I've tried just using a paper towel with a mop head, but the paper towel just tears and falls apart. My old non-microfiber mop head removed dirt better, although not as well. I will try soft cotton fabrics on the mop head to see if the material really picks up dirt. Do not buy this to pick up dirt, "Microfiber" is a sales tool, not a cleaning material. Cut it out and attach it to the mop head with the insert handles. Collects dirt and cleans very well, not like "microfiber". The microfiber material isn't the only issue with this mop as I had to return the mop from O'Cedar because its microfiber didn't pick up dirt either. The base of the aluminum pad is very rigid and puts good pressure on the mop head. I think a dry pad will work just fine, but you'll need a wet pad replacement to properly clean hard floors. Temples Pride is very responsive and tried to find a solution but in the end they just refunded my money. I think they should change the material of the wet pads. I have increased the star rating from one to two but have to keep the low rating due to the microfiber's wet cleaning ability.
