It works as it should and has good design features like the ability to close with a velcro at the top or clips on each side + 1 small zipped pocket on the outside Easy access for phone etc .Only downside for me is that fibers form over the edge of the waterproof material. I've gone through the whole pack with a lighter to get rid of the fine fibers but they keep coming up. To me, that's not a breach of contract, just a minor inconvenience. That's why I gave this heavy duty backpack 4 stars instead of 5. I use this backpack every day during the rainy season where I live and now my stuff is always dry.
