Review on 2000 2008 Keyless Remote Programming Instructions by Erik Sanders

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great replacement. It's easy to live without a key until you lose it.

Bought a used 2002 Ford Focus without even thinking about keyless entry. About two hours later (the first time my son tried to get in) to learn that there was only one keyhole on the driver's door made it more and more annoying to unlock the driver's door, reach out and press the release button or the trunk. Button. When I called the car dealer back, I found that they hadn't had one for a long time either. After some time of searching I came across a keyless key fob from BestKeys. Not only does it have the classic black look I wanted (I never expected so many colors or keychain designs), it matches my Focus perfectly, and it's affordable. I was just hoping to be able to lock/unlock the doors to allow other passengers to get in, but the trunk and panic buttons add another layer of accessibility as well as a great safety feature. The required battery is included, as well as a set of instructions on how to put your car into programming mode and assign a new key fob to your system. Turn the key X number of times, wait 1 second, do it. You should definitely read them the first time, but they're really easy to follow. I installed my keychain in about 5 minutes out of the box. It's definitely a feature that's easy to live without, but once you've got it, it's hard to let go.
